Bonz Hart President / Chief Executive Officer
Bonz Hart is President and CEO, and founded Meridium in 1993. Bonz is focused on shaping Meridium’s strategy and vision for improving availability and reducing unplanned events at asset-intensive companies around the world.
Bonz leverages his years of experience in industry, which includes working for other industrial software providers and consulting at Fortune 500 companies.
Today, he leads a unique global company that is committed to continually innovating and developing new software solutions to help companies improve and manage the performance of their production assets.
Dr. William E. (Eddie) Amos Chief Technology Officer
Eddie Amos is Chief Technology Officer, and is responsible for Meridium’s software strategy, development, quality and innovation.
He joined Meridium in 2012, and has held senior technology leadership and product management positions at other innovative companies such as Microsoft, webMethods and Lotus. Eddie was Vice President at Juniper Networks and a Partner and General Manager at Microsoft, where he drove strategy, evangelism, planning and marketing for products like Visual Studio, Expression, .NET, IIS and Silverlight.
Eddie holds a PhD in computer science and an MS in information science, as well as graduate certificates in project management and information resources management security.
Carl Miller Chief Financial Officer
Carl Miller is Chief Financial Officer, and responsible for Meridium's budgeting and finances. Along with a strong commitment to ensuring ethical financial reporting practices, Carl is focused on growing Meridium with a fiscally sound, conservative approach.
He joined Meridium in 2012 and brings more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership with a proven track record of execution, having served as CFO in leading manufacturing, chemicals, metals, and technology companies including Elmet Technologies, NetShape Technologies, Flexsys, Carlon and Republic Steel. Carl, a Certified Public Accountant, began his career at Ernst & Young, where he specialized in serving the manufacturing and banking industries.
Carl holds a BS in business administration from John Carroll University (OH) and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Mike Matlock Senior Vice President of Customer Sustainability and Managing Director, Americas
Mike Matlock is Senior Vice President of Customer Sustainability, where he is responsible for Client Services and Global Support groups, and ensuring that Meridium customer needs are being met. Mike is also focused on improving the quality and delivery of Meridium software solutions and services.
Mike joined Meridium in 2011 and has extensive management and leadership experience including acquisition integration, maintenance and reliability, site and project management, change management, and domestic and global logistics. at USA and global locations. Prior to joining Meridium, he was with The Dow Chemical Company for thirty-three years, most recently as a Senior Director in Manufacturing and Engineering.
Mike is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan and holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati (OH). He is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management (IL).
Greg Horrell Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Greg Horrell is Managing Director for Meridium’s Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for operations, sales and services across Asia Pacific and South Africa.
Greg has extensive plant experience in maintenance, engineering and reliability with CITGO Petroleum, Basis Petroleum and Owens Corning. He joined Meridium in 1998 as part of the Client Services team, where he led reliability projects with ChevronPhillips Chemicals and Chevron. In 2002, he joined the Sales team and focused on business development, value propositions, project estimating, and account management, and in 2005, was named Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region.
Greg has a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Southern Illinois (IL).
Maher Maamari Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, and Africa
Maher Maamari is Managing Director of Meridium’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. He is responsible for the operations, sales, and services across Europe, Middle East, North and Central Africa, from the Meridium offices located in Dubai, Madrid, and London.
Maher has more than 26 years of managerial and technical experience in the reliability, information technology, automation, and engineering fields. He joined Meridium’s Houston office in 1997, with experience as a systems engineer, software engineer, product manager, and project manager in the oil and gas industry. Maher has directed and managed various Meridium implementations including Saudi Chemical, BAPCO, ChevronTexaco, Qatar Gas, RasGas, SABIC, Qatar Chemical, Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil, and Ameriven.
He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Houston (TX).
Joe Nichols Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships
Joe Nichols is Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at Meridium. He is responsible for building strategic partnerships worldwide with a focus on ensuring customers receive the most complete solution to optimize the performance of their assets. In this role, Joe directs a team that evaluates and implements strategic partnerships which expand the reach of our “Machine-to-Meridium” ecosystem, as well as value-added content and service providers.
Joe joined Meridium in 1995 and has extensive knowledge in the development and implementation of asset performance management methodologies and software in large enterprises through his various roles in Product Strategy, Sales, Consulting, Marketing and Training.
Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration/information systems from Radford University (Virginia, USA).
Roy E. Whitt Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asset Answers
Roy Whitt is Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asset Answers, a comparative analysis solution for asset-intensive industries focused on improving productivity, data quality and operational effectiveness.
Roy joined Meridium in 2007, following a thirty-year career in the refining industry, most recently with Marathon Petroleum Company. His experience includes a variety of senior-level positions including plant manager and vice president of business operations. Roy has served on the API’s General Committee on Refining and Operating Practices Advisory Committee as well as NPRA’s Manufacturing Committee, and is a member of AIChE.
A registered professional engineer in the State of Kentucky, Roy holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY) and an M.B.A. from Morehead State University (KY). He is a graduate of the Ashland Management Development program at Indiana University (IN) and the Executive Program of the University of Michigan’s Business School.
