Meridium Recommendation Management

In general, a recommendation is understood to be a request for a change to be implemented or an action to be carried out against an asset.

In a single week, hundreds of recommendations may be generated and each must be approved, tracked, implemented and preserved for compliance auditing. In Meridium APM software, recommendations can be generated by a number of modules such as Risk Based Inspection, RCM/FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and others. Recommendations may also be generated on an ad-hoc basis when an inspector or technician in the field notes a condition that should be addressed.

Managing recommendations from multiple applications for thousands of assets can be overwhelming. Unlike most point solutions, Meridium recognizes and addresses this challenge by:

• Providing a Recommendation Manager to view and manipulate all or selected recommendations from the entire Meridium APM system.
• Tightly integrating recommendation creation and management into multiple Meridium's applications.

Meridium Task Management

Tasks are usually viewed as the work item resulting from a recommendation.  And, it's important to understand why a task is being done in order to comprehend the benefit and usefulness of the task. Once a recommendation is approved, it must be scheduled and entered into the work system for execution.

Meridium's Task Management functionality allows users to view and manage tasks in a single interface. Like Meridium Recommendation Manager, tasks are tightly integrated with individual modules such as Thickness Monitoring, Risk Based Inspection, and others.

The architecture and functionality of Meridium APM software allows users to view tasks in a comprehensive context, providing information such as which recommendation or module created the task or the ability to view all of the tasks related to a particular asset. The Meridium APM software core reporting and alerting features enable users to easily construct reports or notify teams of completed or overdue tasks.

Meridium APM software also offers an integration interface with SAP providing the ability for Meridium users to create and track the execution of work in SAP through a Meridium task.
