Meridium APM 3.0 Achieves “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” Status

Roanoke, Virginia – Meridium Inc., the global leader in asset performance management (APM) software and consulting solutions, today announced the Meridium Asset Performance Management (APM) software solution version 3.0 has achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver^®” status from SAP AG.  Through this certification, Meridium’s customers can take advantage of extended integration scenarios between Meridium APM and the SAP^® Service and Asset Management solution.  

The SAP NetWeaver platform powers the SAP Business Suite and solutions such as Meridium APM 3.0. SAP NetWeaver unifies integration technologies into a single platform and is pre-integrated with business applications, enabling change and reducing the need for custom integration.  Meridium has further extended its existing SAP-specific integrations to receive the Powered by SAP NetWeaver designation for Meridium APM from the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC), which helps ensure that SAP application integration utilizes SAP NetWeaver technologies and follows SAP standards and guidelines. The SAP ICC has certified that Meridium APM 3.0 properly integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform to exchange critical data with instances of SAP Business Suite.

Among other features, the certified interface allows for the implementation and management of recommendations and corrective actions within SAP NetWeaver that have been identified during the development and evaluation of asset strategies, thus helping to ensure optimal asset performance and compliance.  New capabilities have also been introduced to provide enterprise-wide exposure of recommendations and corrective actions through iViews in the SAP NetWeaver Portal component to provide the appropriate level of visibility to all of the relevant SAP NetWeaver Portal roles.
