The APT Asset Strategy Library contains fully defined failure modes and preventative maintenance plans for hundreds of equipment classifications, which have been developed and refined since 1996 through structured engineering reviews and assessments by equipment vendors and panels of maintenance experts from multiple plants.

An equipment taxonomy is a structured classification of all significant equipment, equipment components and maintenance activities that may be found in a given facility. When used with Meridium’s asset performance management solutions, the taxonomy enables process operators to drive strategic change and lower operating costs through consistent data collection, measurements, and key performance indicators (KPIs), resulting in improved equipment reliability.
