Meridium and ExxonMobil Research & Engineering (EMRE) have an agreement for Meridium to globally market and license EMRE’s enterprise equipment taxonomy. An equipment taxonomy is a structured classification of all significant equipment, equipment components and maintenance activities that may be found in a given facility. When used with Meridium’s asset performance management solutions, the taxonomy enables process operators to drive strategic change and lower operating costs through consistent data collection, measurements, and key performance indicators (KPIs), resulting in improved equipment reliability.
